To me it's one of the easiest choices in the game- I see no benefit for anyone to have an angry depressed ghost and her weird alt-dimension pets haunt a huge mansion. Iris died, she should just. finish dying. Take that rose, every time. In my canon playthroughs I always let her keep the rose and give the painting to Olgierd as a memento.
